Privacy policy
Last updated: June 23, 2026
The Mohsin Project is a nonprofit initiative that builds free software for purpose-driven organizations. This policy explains what we collect when you apply to partner or volunteer, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you submit an application through our website, we ask for:
- Your name and email address
- Whether you are applying as a partner or volunteer
- Your message about your mission or interest
- Optional details: organization name and phone number
We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of data through the form. Please avoid sharing information you are not comfortable submitting.
How we use your information
We use application data to:
- Review partnership and volunteer requests
- Follow up with you personally about your application
- Coordinate next steps if there is a good fit
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their marketing.
Where data is stored
Applications are stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon. Email notifications about new submissions may be sent to our team through a transactional email provider. These providers process data only to deliver the service on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep application records as long as needed to evaluate and respond to your request, and for reasonable follow-up related to partnerships or volunteering. If you would like us to delete your submission, contact us and we will do so unless we are required to retain it for legal reasons.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information you submitted by emailing sohaibbinmohsin@gmail.com.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version.
